Softball Scholarship
Faith McCorkle Awarded Softball Scholarshiop

Senior, Faith McCorkle was awarded a softball scholarship from Holmes Community College. The following is an article written by CA softball coach Rusty Miller:

Faith has played for me since she was a sixth grader. She has played outfield, infield, and cather. For the past two years Faith has been our starting shortstop, a position that she certainly excelled in. Fatih is an excellent hitter with a career average over 300. She is also an exceptional bunter which made her a valuable asset to our program. Faith played in the 2009 MAIS All Star game and represented her school and herself very well. At Holmes, Faith is expected to play second base or shortstop. Faith is the daughter of Keith McCorkle and J.J. McCorkle.
