Friday morning, April 24th, the Carroll Academy Class of 2009 dedicated a Memorial Garden outside the Kindergarten building. Rev. Gary Bunch of the Carrollton Baptist Church opened the ceremony with prayer and welcomed family and friends of those being honored.

Gary Bankston and Ganes Bankston placed a stone in memory of their mother, Vickie Adams Bankston; Colby Mitchell placed a stone in memory of his father, Mitch Mitchell; Patrick Griffin placed a stone in memory of his father, Jimmy Lewis Griffin; and Jinx Smith placed a stone in memory of his father, Jinx Peterson Smith, Sr. All five young men placing stones are seniors at Carroll Academy.
