Student Council Wins National Award

The Carroll Academy Student Council has been named best in community service in both Mississippi and in the Southeastern Region by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). State Chairman of Junior American Citizens, Victoria Pekich, presented members of the Executive Council with a First Place Award from Mississippi and a First Place Award from the Southeastern Region of the United States for their project, "Enhance the Present." Congratulations Student Council on a job well done!

Seniors Recognized for Accomplishments

Congratulations to Senior Jayme Williams who was selected as STAR Student. The STAR Program stands for Student-Teacher Recognition. It is a program that encourages scholastic achievement among the state's high school students. To be eligible a student must have a minimum ACT score of 25 and an overall average of 93 or above. Jayme chose Mrs. Liz Wilson as His STAR Teacher. Congratulations to Jayme Williams and Mrs. Liz Wilson on their accomplishments.
