Carroll Academy Kindergarten

Carroll Academy Kindergarten was organized on January 5, 2003 on a belief in children - in their uniqueness today and their promise for tomorrow - and in the adults that will offer their skills, experiences, and caring to the children of Carroll Academy. Our Kindergarten is accredited by the MS Private School Association.

We have a 3 year old preschool, 4 year old preschool, and a 5 year old kindergarten. The philosophy of Carroll Academy Kindergarten is to train the students in the knowledge of God and provide an environment where learning is fun. A primary objective of the school is that all associated with Carroll Academy can contribute immeasurably to the well-being and growth of one another.

Our purpose at Carroll Academy Kindergarten is multifold: To educate children so that they will develop fully their intellectual, social, and creative capabilities; to instill an enthusiasm for learning; and to develop a sense of resposible participation in society. We also hope that our students will grow in self-esteem and self-discipline, will meet the academic challenges, and care for the needs of others In addition to the academic challenges at Carroll Academy, the teachers are also committed to building a good foundation in the Christian way of life as well as the social and emotional development of each child.

Our policy is to maintain a student-teacher ratio that enhances the learning environment. Therefore, the maximum class size is 20 students per teacher. Currently, those classes that approach 20 students in number receive the addittion of a teacher's assistant.




Carroll Academy Elementary

Carroll Academy Elementary strives to lead students to develop skills and knowledge in the Arts and Sciences and to develop an understanding of their privileges and responsibilities in relation to their family, community, state, nation, and God.

School Hours are from 7:52 - 3:15. Teachers are on duty from 7:30 - 3:30. After school care is available. Please call for us more information.





Carroll Academy High School

Carroll Academy School Code: 250-468
High school students will need to use this school code when taking ACT tests. Some college applications may require it.

Carroll Academy has two basic graduation programs:

The University Preparatory Track

General Diploma Track

The UP program of instruction includes the following requirements:

English - (4) credits (Two must be honors)

Math - (4) credits (All Alg. I or above)

Science - (4) credits (All Bio. I or above)

History - (4) credits

Computer - (1) credit

Foreign Language - (1) credit

Electives - (6 - 1/2) credits (one must be a 4th upper Math or 4th upper science)

A total of 22 credits must be attained to successfully complete the UP track. To be considered an Honor Graduate this track must be taken.

MPSA Graduation Requirements beginning with 2011 12th grade:

English - (4) credits

Math - (4) credits

Science - (4) credits

Social Studies - (4) credits

Electives - (4) credits

The General Diploma program of instruction includes the following requirements:

English - (4) credits

Math - (4) credits

Science - (4) credits

History - (4) credits (Must include American History and Government)

Computer - (1) credit

Electives - (4) credits

A total fo 20 credits must be obtained to successfully complete the General Diploma requirements.

Each nine week period Carroll Academy will recognize those students that have meet the criteria for Honor Roll. This list will be provided to the local media for publication and posted in our News area.
